How to set up a camping tent?

2024-10-18

1. First, choose a campsite. After considering the wind direction and terrain, choose a flat place and lay the inner tent of the tent flat on the ground (usually the inner tent, but there are also some that first set up the outer tent and then drill into it to hang the inner tent. The principle is to wear the layer of the tent pole). Put aside the nail bag, pole bag and other accessories wrapped with the tent.

2. Take out the folded tent pole, connect it well, straighten it section by section, and connect it into a long pole.

3. Insert the long fiber pole into the tent tube (also called the pipeline). Some double-layer tents are internally hung, so hang the hook on the fiber pole. Several poles should be put in at the same time.

4. Insert one end of the fiber pole into the eyelet hole or the needle ring at the bottom corner of the tent (some tents use needle rings, each has its own advantages), and then go to the other end (diagonal), hold the pole in one hand and the bottom corner of the tent in the other hand, slowly arch the pole, and insert the pole into the eyelet or the needle ring at the bottom corner after the tent is propped up.

5. Finally, hang the outer tent, open it, and cover it on the inner tent.

6. There are some ropes on the outer tent, which are used to reinforce the camping tent. If there is no strong wind, you can usually leave them unpulled. If you are not sure, it is best to pull them up, and use ground nails. Pull several ropes evenly.
